About the Yoga Teacher

After already being on a spiritual search for many years, Amy began the practice of Yoga and meditation at the age of 14 after meeting her first teacher, Satyavati. It was in Satyavati’s gentle teaching, guidance and friendship that inspired within her a passion for the teachings and practice of yoga. By the age of 16 Amy was already teaching free yoga classes to her friends and neighbors from her mother’s seaside home in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and by the age of 19 had moved to northern New South Wales and completed her Yoga Teacher Training with friend and inspiration Robyn Hanson.

Yoga ClassSince completion of her training Amy has taught both private and group classes in numerous meditation centres, retreat centres, festivals, gyms, wellness centres, consulates, community gatherings and institutions. She has also assisted in teacher training both in Australia and South East Asia.
